Biography

MAJ Ronald A. Rogers completed Basic Training, Infantry and Basic Airborne training at Fort Benning, GA in 1983 and severed as an enlisted soldier until 1999. He then commissioned as a Second Lieutenant as a Medical Service Corp Officer and later received additional officer branches of Infantry and Armor.

MAJ Rogers has 27 years of service with the Active Army and Army National Guard include duty assignments with 2-75th Infantry Battalion, 4th Infantry Division, 1-10th Infantry Battalion, Berlin Brigade, 6-502nd Infantry Battalion, 877th Engineer Battalion, 1-198th Armor Battalion, 47th Civil Support Team (weapons of mass destruction), Mississippi Medical Command, and currently Executive Officer of the Rebel Battalion at Ole Miss.

Awards include the Basic Airborne Badge, Expert Infantry Badge, 3 Meritorious Service Medals, 5 Army Accommodation Medals, Air Force Accommodation Medal, Coast Guard Special Operations Medal, Army Occupational Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, National Defense Medal, 3 Army Achievement Medals and the Mississippi Magnolia Medal for disaster response.

MAJ Rogers’ wife of 25 years, Mary is from Amory Mississippi. They have two sons Cadet Seth Rogers (OLE MISS Army ROTC) and Cadet Bryce Rogers(OLE MISS Army ROTC.)
